Bi-Directional Integration:- Bi-Directional integration ensures that you don’t end up getting a wrong manually entered report. In this method, the blood testing equipment directly queries the IT system for the test you have requested for, as per your barcode; then performs the required tests, and subsequently enters your results directly to your barcode ID for the technicians and pathologist to review.
Since the requisition process is automated for a vast majority of tests, the chances of manual errors are exponentially reduced.
